- outline the legal obligations of schools (including their obligations in relation to discrimination, change and suppression practices, child safety and privacy)
- outline lawful exceptions to discrimination relevant to faith-based schools
- provide practical guidance on navigating complex issues that arise in single-sex and co-educational schools in relation to sexually and gender diverse students (including attendance at camps, use of facilities, parental consent, and navigating opposition from parents, religious bodies, students, and other community members), and
- explore practical case studies to support schools to tackle these issues effectively.
